Machines designed for speed and responsiveness, with capabilities to run gaming graphics cards for high frame rates.
Uses tried and tested components, modified by our staff who are all gamers themselves. We can supply machines from a decent entry level up to high end systems for multiple monitors and even 4k gaming.
State of the market Feb 26: Basically, AI companies are messing up the component supply market by buying a lot of RAM and SSD components. Along with speculation and profiteering, this results in much higher prices for some components. This is particularly true for newer DDR5 memory, which is 5.5x more expensive than its lowest price, NVMe SSDs are 3x more expensive than their lowest price. So we are only quoting spot prices for systems that use DDR5. Please call us.
The DDR4 system we have here is currently priced realistically, but pricing is subject to change. We expect graphics card pricing to rise soon as well, as higher-specification models are already hard to source. Please give us a call for a correct quote when you wish to buy. However, any systems we list as in stock are priced at the price listed below, as we already have the parts.
Why our Gaming PCs?
We love gaming, but we hate what some suppliers call gaming PCs, which can focus on just one component and not balance a system properly.
The two biggest problems with gaming PC design are balance and expense.
With an unlimited budget you can get a truly wonderful machine that will play everything on giant screens. However its rare our customers come to us with such a budget, so we make careful design choices that give a performance machine to fit a price point.
Due to the current excessive prices on RAM and storage, we’ve specified the PCs here on the cheaper last-generation AMD platform, which uses DDR4 memory. We can build DDR5-based systems, but pricing is incredibly high for a not-that-significant gain.
We have balanced the machines component wise which changes the price and performance relatively.
These are only examples of what can be supplied (component versions and supply make pricing slightly variable), nearly every component is customisable or upgradable, you’ll need to talk to us if you want to change things around, but these specs should give you an idea of what machines we can build you at what price point.
